As the year comes to a close and we prepare to gather with loved ones and reflect on the year, we want to take a moment to thank you for your continued partnership this year. With your support, participation and passion, the Nature for All team has accomplished a lot this year!

I recently listened to end-of-year presentations by our team and was reminded how impactful our work is for our community members. We are excited to ride into the new year with plans for further expansion of our programs! For this, we are grateful for the individuals and organizations who take time to support one another via our community base building trainings and activities. We look forward to an amazing 2023 along your side.

Comments from those who joined us for our All Aboard for Nature trips this year illustrate why we are so dedicated to providing more access to nature.

“Thank you for having these activities available for POC communities. Seeing POC families in nature makes me smile.”

51% of Los Angeles residents do not have a public park or open space within walking distance of their home.

Your support can help us continue to achieve more environmental justice in our historically underserved neighborhoods by finding, training, and elevating the voices of diverse community members interested in becoming LA’s future leaders.

“This was a wonderful experience. Apart from spending time in nature it was nice to share space with other members of the community.”

The pandemic has made clear how the mental and physical health of those in our communities is tied to having access to the outdoors and community connections.

Your support can help us connect and collaborate with community members and partners on protecting our public lands and natural resources; taking action on climate change; and ensuring that more community members have access to nature.

“We need more of these! Thanks!”
Millions of urban LA County residents are without backyards, vehicles, or nearby parks, and lack access to nature.

Your support can help us create more natural spaces, such as parks and bike paths, in our historically underserved neighborhoods; connect more community members to nature by hosting trips to state beaches and parks; and continue to plan for the transit-to-trails routes so desperately needed to make our majestic public lands truly accessible to all.

Together, we can continue to drive the change our community needs. We can achieve environmental justice, increase equity, and provide more access to nature for our diverse communities. We are eager to continue our work in 2023 to protect and support our communities and nature, and we thank you for your end-of-year donations to help us move forward.

May you take a moment to reflect on your professional and personal accomplishments, and hopefully spend some time with loved ones this season! We look forward to a continued partnership in 2023!
