Our Nature for All Coalition held our annual retreat. This year, we opened up more seats at the table by welcoming our community ambassadors to join us and having Spanish interpreters from the Language Justice Workers’ Cooperative of Interpreters and Translators to ensure everyone was included in the conversation.

José G. González of Latino Outdoors also joined us to facilitate the meeting, review the Jemez Principles for organizing, and guide us in defining what community work means to us.

We want to share gratitude and appreciation to all of our coalition partners for creating a safe space for critical thinking while we work for environmental equity. It is heartening and inspiring to share a commit to protect our California public lands and to serving the needs of our community members! It is a pleasure to grow with and learn from one another.
Here’s to another year of community work!
