Hosted by Krystle Yu and Evellyn Rosas

Evellyn Rosas and Krystle Yu are Leadership Academy graduates and amazing community organizers who worked with Nature for All and Arlington Garden to create and lead an in-person tour for youth and their families and a self-guided audio tour for the public to enjoy.

Nature Relations is a multilingual (English, Spanish, and Mandarin) nature journal and guided audio tour through the Arlington Garden in Pasadena. Through this audio tour, participants can learn about different climate-specific native plants, regenerative planting practices, and how plants benefit our physical, mental, and spiritual wellbeing. Through the nature journal, youth and families are invited to express how nature makes them feel and are asked to imagine the nature that they wish to see in Pasadena and elsewhere.

In addition to this audio tour — a first of its kind for Nature for All — Krystle and Evellyn organized a socially distant in-person tour of Arlington Gardens for youth and families in and around Pasadena. We are extremely proud and grateful to have worked with Krystle and Evellyn and this amazing project!
