At Nature for All, we are committed to connecting people and nature, creating more parks and open, green spaces in our historically underserved neighborhoods, and protecting our cherished public lands.

Because we are sheltered at home to protect our communities during the COVID-19 pandemic, we have been enjoying nature at home whenever we can. We’re also daydreaming about our favorite natural spots in and around Los Angeles.

This year marks the 50th anniversary of Earth Day! While we are not able to celebrate with you at one of our local parks this year (we hope to be able to do that soon!), we can still celebrate the natural places we cherish around Los Angeles.

So, let’s celebrate Earth Day at home on April 22 by sharing our favorite parks and natural places around Los Angeles! Tag us (@lanatureforall) in posts that contain photos of your favorite park or open, green space. Or be creative and share drawings or paintings or doodles. (Parents: this is a fun project for kids!) Use #LANatureAtHome #EarthDayAtHome on your posts and include the name of the park or green space — or the zip code of a location, if it’s private. Then we’ll put them on a map to celebrate all our natural favorite spots.
