Fall 2020 Leadership Academy: Apply Now

Applications for the 18th cohort of the Leadership Academy, set for Fall 2020, are now being accepted! We are currently planning for this cohort to take place in person, but that is subject to change and depends on the County and State Regulations. We accept no more than 15 participants per cohort.

The locations for each meeting are still being confirmed. If we are able to meet in person, the academy will take place all over LA County. Dates and locations will be sent to participants in advance. The pending dates for the academy are below, and subject to change:

Fall 2020 Schedule:

  1. Saturday October 3, 2020- 8 am to 2 pm
  2. Wednesday, October 7, 2020- 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm
  3. Wednesday, October 21, 2020 – 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm
  4. Wednesday, November 4, 2020 – 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm
  5. Saturday, November 7, 2020 – 8 am to 2 pm
  6. Wednesday, November 18, 2020 – 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm
  7. Wednesday, December 2, 2020- 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm
  8. Saturday, December 12, 2020 – 8 am to 2 pm
  9. Wednesday, December 16, 2020- 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm
  10. Wednesday, December 30, 2020- 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm
  11. Wednesday, January 13, 2021- 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm
  12. Saturday, January 16, 2021-8 am to 2 pm
    ->GRADUATION: Friday, January, 29, 2021 at 7 pm

Winter/Spring 2020 Leadership Academy

The deadline has passed for submitting applications for Cohort 17 of our Leadership Academy. Please sign up to get our newsletter or follow up on social media to get updates for the new round of applications for Cohort 18.

Leadership Academy sessions will take place in San Gabriel Valley and Los Angeles on the following days. Participants will be expected to attend all sessions. Attendance of 80% (9 out of the 12) classes and completion of a community project are required , in order to receive a $500 award of completion of the academy. Participants will be given advanced notice of any changes to the session schedule and locations. Below are dates and pending locations for this cohort.

  1. Sunday, Jan. 12, 2020: Orientation ( 8 – 3:00pm)
  2. Wed, Jan. 22 5:30 – 8:30pm
  3. Wed, Feb. 5 5:30 – 8:30pm
  4. Wed, Feb. 19 5:30 – 8:30pm
  5. Sat, Feb. 29 9am – 12pm
  6. Wed, March 4 5:30 – 8:30pm
  7. Wed, March 18 5:30 – 8:30pm
  8. Sat, March 28 9 – 12pm
  9. Wed, April 1 5:30 – 8:30pm
  10. Wed, April 15 5:30 – 8:30pm
  11. Sat, April 25 9am – 12pm
  12. Wed, April 29 5:30-8:30pm
  13. Wednesday, May 13, 2020: Graduation (6 pm-8:30pm)

Winter – Spring 2020 Cohort 17 dates will be as follows. Locations are still pending and will be confirmed with participants.
