With the results of this historic election season, we are filled with hope.

With so much at stake, our coalition worked to get out the vote to protect our communities and environment. Together, we voted for a healthier and more equitable future. We voted to support Black, Indigenous and people of color, and our underserved communities. We voted for climate action. We voted to protect our public lands and natural resources and create more open, natural spaces. We voted for democracy and the promise of a better future for all.

We saw historic voter turnout, with more Americans and Californians raising their voices than ever before. Most promising of all: The record number of youth and communities of color who turned up to turn things around. While these continue to be challenging times, we are encouraged and energized to continue the work we need to do to affect the change we need, particularly to protect access to our public lands for all.
