Designed for youth from 8 to 18 years of in the San Fernando Valley

About the Program
- This program is a free environmental program for the San Fernando Valley community, focused on increasing outdoor skills and experience. Through outdoor exploration, community members will learn about nature and environmental topics, how to hike, and enjoy the outdoors in a safe and exciting environment.
- We also talk about nature close to home, why some communities lack green spaces and what we can do about it!
- This program is free for all ages. Please note that youth under 13 years old must be accompanied by an adult.
- The goal of this program is to Grow Environmental Advocates from the Ground Up.
- This program is funded by the Outdoor Equity Grants Program, created through AB 209 and administered by California State Parks, Office of Grants and Locall Services.
